The LDJ400 The LDJ400 series multi-functional tunnel boring machine is an innovative, non-explosive solution designed for efficient tunnel excavation. This state-of-the-art equipment utilizes either a high-frequency hammer or breaker hammer to fracture rocks. Bucket teeth or drill rods wedge the rock in the surrounding formation, and the natural force of gravity facilitates the breaking process. High-frequency hammers are optimal for rocks with a hardness below 40MPa, while breaker hammers are ideal for more robust, less-developed rocks. Featuring both local and wireless remote control, this versatile machine is suitable for tunnels ranging from 6 to 9.5 meters in diameter. Its multifunctionality includes high-frequency rock breaking, rapid excavation of soft soils, precise contour trimming, and advanced spray dust removal. Designed for construction environments with blasting restrictions—such as airports, residential areas, and wildlife reserves—the LDJ400 is highly adaptable, capable of handling various rock types, minimizing over- and under-excavation, and preventing landslides and other complications.
